Backstage Talk On TNA Impact Wrestling Airing On Another Cable Network In 2016 #MMBTNA

There is talk within the company of TNA Impact Wrestling airing on another cable TV network in early 2016. No word yet on which network they are more likely to sign with but there is still a very real possibility that TNA will be off TV in the United States, even if it's just for a few weeks or a month.

When asked by people in TNA, some executives are saying that they will be on Destination America through the end of the year and then a new cable network in early 2016.

We do not know if WGN America is one of the networks TNA is talking to but WGN was interested in working with them before the Destination America deal was signed. One of the reasons TNA did not go with WGN is because the network wanted to push the Impact premiere back a few months into 2015. TNA may be talking to four different networks.

Reports Bully Ray Is Gone From TNA After Just Returning #MMBTNA

Bully Ray, who just returned to TNA as the new authority figure, is already gone from the company, according to PWInsider. Bully was not used at this week's TV tapings and rumors started going around when people asked about why he wasn't being used.

Bully reportedly wanted to distance himself from TNA as he wasn't happy with the current state of affairs within the company.

However, another TNA source told PWInsider that Bully could not have quit as he wasn't under contract. Their side of things was that because Bully wasn't signed to a deal, the new authority figure angle was never a long-term plan.

Friday's TNA Impact Wrestling tapings in Orlando were packed but many fans left after the Destination America airing was over, before the second taping began. It was said to be hard for the wrestlers to get big reactions from the crowd.

Regarding Billy Corgan being backstage at Friday's tapings, he's receiving high marks for his interactions with the TNA wrestlers and how he approached them with ideas or suggestions.

Former WWE NXT star Chris Hero (Kassius Ohno) was backstage for Friday's tapings. He was there visiting friends with former NXT employee Rob Naylor.

TNA Leaves Door Open For Samoa Joe Return #MMBTNA

Regarding Samoa Joe leaving TNA, word is that the two sides negotiated and tried to come to terms on a new deal up until the end and things remained friendly between Joe and the company. The situation was described as similar to the one that led to AJ Styles leaving in 2013 where TNA was not going to be able to match what Joe had been making. TNA made their final offer and left things up to Joe.

When he decided to leave, TNA officials made it clear to Joe that there was no heat on him and that the door would be open for a future return.

Another lesser factor that had to do with Joe's departure is the company looking to invest more in newer talents coming in.

Backstage Reaction To Samoa Joe Leaving TNA #MMBTNA

Initial reaction to Samoa Joe leaving TNA among the other wrestlers is that they are very down because Joe and the company couldn't come to terms on a new deal, according to PWInsider.

Joe has always been seen as a leader in the locker room and was well-liked by most everyone. Joe's departure is leaving a hole in the roster similar to the one left when AJ Styles and TNA parted ways.

TNA's Debut on Destination America Airing Live? #MMBTNA

TNA has announced Impact Wrestling tapings at the Manhattan Center in New York City for January 7th, 8th and 9th. The current plan is to do the first show either live or on a one to two hour tape delay. This all depends on Destination America confirming the Wednesday 9pm time slot, which is expected.

TNA had been considering several locations for December 15th tapings but without being able to finalize any dates until the Destination America deal was complete, it was pretty much impossible to put together tapings on such short notice.
