WWE Trying To Secure Goldberg For Wrestlemania XXXI

WWE's working plan to try and get Bill Goldberg signed for WrestleMania 31 is to follow a similar path that they took with The Ultimate Warrior. The idea is to put Goldberg in the WWE 2K15 video game, announce that around SummerSlam and then use that hype to build to a top spot at WrestleMania 31.

It's been noted before that there is some concern among WWE officials about how physical of a match Brock Lesnar works, going into the planned match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX. Word now is that Taker is in rough shape after having hip surgery last year.

With things going south for Ryback and his big push, it was recently discussed to have Goldberg challenge for The Streak at WrestleMania XXX. With that said, one source believes WWE will stick to the original plan of Lesnar vs. Undertaker.

Bill Goldberg appeared for the Miami Marlins’ Pro Wrestling Night festivities the other night. The Miami Herald’s Scott Fishman noted that Goldberg appeared in tremendous shape and was in great spirits while posing for photos and signing autographs.

Ryback Claims He Is Better Then Goldberg Ever Was

Ryback addressed comparisons between himself and Bill Goldberg during an interview published in the latest issue of WWE Magazine. He said they don't bother him and that "people are misinformed."
