Batista recently spoke with the UK's Daily Mail to promote Guardians of the Galaxy.

Batista confirmed that he will be returning to WWE and expressed interest in facing Sting. He commented on Sting wrestling for WWE:

Batista recently spoke with Digital Spy to promote the Guardians of the Galaxy movie. He commented on CM Punk returning to WWE:

"I know for a fact that he loves professional wrestling. I couldn't see him taking a step down and wrestling for a lesser organization. Unless he spent some time in Japan, I just don't see it. I think eventually he'll come back. I think he belongs there. I think the fans really love him and miss him. I think he loves it and misses it just as much. I'm really not sure why he left. He'll be back, I would think that he would be back. I think it would be kind of crazy if he didn't go back."

Batista also predicted that Roman Reigns will be pushed "to the sky" and will be the first member of The Shield to get a major title.

Batista Turns Down Championship Opportunity

As noted, Batista isn't booked for any WWE shows after Extreme Rules pay-per-view. His last night for the time being is scheduled to be the pay-per-view or RAW on Monday night.

WrestleMania XXX creative meetings were held over the past week with several discussions changed. While many different scenarios were brought up, at least one source in WWE creative doesn’t expect a lot of changes will be made.

Heyman Talks About Batista's Upcoming Return

Paul Heyman talked to Michael Cole about Batista returning to WWE. Heyman denied that Brock Lesnar returning because Batista was coming back. Heyman said he’s a big Batista fan and would like to sign him but it won’t happen. As far as Batista and Lesnar go, Heyman said Lesnar doesn’t concern himself with anyone else.

On Sunday, February 16, 2014, WWE will hold a live event at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tickets to the show are being sold via www.unlvtickets.com, and Batista advertised to appear at the event (he is also featured on a graphic on the front page of the website promoting the event).

Batista Making His MMA Debut In October with Possible Pay-Per-View Fight

Batista's big announcement that he has been hyping is his MMA debut. TMZ reports that Batista will debut on October 6th in Providence, Rhode Island at the Dunkin' Donuts Theater for the CES MMA promotion. TMZ adds that the fight will be televised but there is no word yet on which provider will broadcast the event.
