Well if you're a diehard baseball fan like myself seeing this logo every season is like seeing the first Christmas lights on someone's house during the holidays. This is the logo for the 2011 World Series, which I am hoping includes my Philadelphia Phillies vs whomever! What do you think of it? It's not too bad it's got a very country feeling.

San Francisco Giants To Don Golden Jerseys Opening Day

It started with the Red Sox after winning the world series and has been adopted by both the Cardinals and Phillies, gold trim. The gold trim representing that they were the world champions, however the San Francisco Giants are taking it to another level. The Giants will wear a jersey where the name GIANTS will not be trimmed in gold, but gold entirely. Yes the gold rush has hit the bay area once again. Above is what the jersey will look like. Not only is GIANTS in gold but the uni numbers will be as well. Also rumor has it they will don a golden SF on their hats, but that has yet to be confirmed. The Giants will also wear the jerseys the following night after opening day, the night the Giants get their 2010 World Series championship rings.
