LeBron James has turned his back on McDonald's to bet on a Chipotle-style pizza chain #MMBSports

LeBron James has decided not to renew his deal with McDonald's.

Instead, he plans to serve as spokesman to Blaze Pizza, the fast-casual pizza chain that he's invested in for years, reports Darren Rovell at ESPN.

"LeBron came on as a founding investor and he had been silent and in the background," cofounder Rick Wetzel told ESPN. "Now we're using him to get our message out there and put the spotlight on our brand."

Nike Unveils Oregon Pioneers Uniforms #MMBSports

Nike and the University of Oregon Ducks introduce the new Oregon Pioneers football uniform, which emphasizes Oregon state history.

Oregon is a state that has bred innovators, freethinkers and risk-takers since its founding. Nike co-founder Phil Knight is the quintessential example, starting a company by selling shoes out of a car trunk and turning it into a $30 billion powerhouse. Despite Nike’s impressive evolution, he and his wife, Penny, still refer to themselves as "just a couple of kids from Oregon."

76ers Rookie Jahlil Okafor Considering Legal Action Against Woman On Twitter Who Says He's A 2 Minute Man #MMBSports

NBA rookie Jahlil Okafor claims he’s been targeted by an Internet “troll”, who is spreading disgusting lies about a sexual encounter that never happened and now he’s taking action to shut her down.

Social media exploded over the past 24 hours after someone claiming to be a woman named “Chanel” went to Twitter and posted a story about hooking up with Okafor, complete with embarrassing details involving his junk and bedroom performance.

Jahlil Okafor raises eyebrows by unceremoniously discarding new jersey #MMBSports

Is Jahlil Okafor salty about being drafted by the 76ers?

The former Duke star was predicted by most to go either No. 1 or No. 2 in the 2015 NBA Draft. But when the Lakers selected D'Angelo Russell second, Okafor slipped down to the Sixers at No. 3.

On Saturday, he was introduced in his new city and presented with a uniform to hold up for pictures. When he was done meeting with the press, he dispassionately tossed the jersey onto a table or chair and walked away. Naturally, the Internet freaked out and began questioning whether Okafor was displeased with his situation.

It makes it look a little worse since the other two draftees, Richaun Holmes and J.P. Tokoto, were both selected in the second round and might be holding on to those jerseys a bit tighter. But I get it, you think you're about to move out to Los Angeles and start hanging out with Hollywood stars and eating breakfast with Kobe. Instead, you end up in Philadelphia. Not quite the same.

Regardless, I'm pretty sure any 19-year-old is just happy to be given a shot in the NBA.

So to answer the question. No, Okafor probably isn't salty about getting drafted by the Sixers. I'm sure he wasn't even thinking about how the Internet would perceive his actions. But, at the same time, it wouldn't hurt to be a little more tender with the new merchandise.

Chip Kelly blasts Taylor Swift during practice [Video] #MMBSports

Wonder if Chip Kelly was at the @taylorswift13 concert Saturday? #Eagles pic.twitter.com/CGi9dTuH7V

— Matt Lombardo (@MattLombardo975) June 18, 2015

Taylor Swift has 59.3 million followers on Twitter, and it's safe to say that if Chip Kelly had an account of his own, he would join her long list of followers.

The Philadelphia Eagles head coach had an interesting choice of music to put on blast during the team's final minicamp practice last week.

While most coaches choose electronic dance music or hip-hop when looking to motivate, Kelly opted for pop. If you didn't know by now, Kelly simply does things differently from everyone else.

ESPN Reports Pete Rose Bet on Games He Played #MMBSports

ESPN says it has new evidence that Pete Rose bet "extensively on baseball — and on the Cincinnati Reds — as he racked up the last hits of a record-smashing career in 1986." The evidence is in the form of pages of a notebook seized from a former associate of Rose during a 1989 raid by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. Rose was banned from baseball in 1989 after it was found he was betting on games as a manager. Rose denied that he bet on baseball for the next 15 years, finally fessing up in 2004.

Paulina Gretzky: Daughter of Wayne Gretzky Shares Post-Baby Bikini Photo on Instagram #MMBSports

Paulina Gretzky makes motherhood look oh so good.

The new mom, who along with fiancé Dustin Johnson welcomed a boy in mid-January, proudly showed off her post-baby body on Wednesday.

The 26-year-old model and singer slipped into a black bikini to strike a sexy pose. “Lounging,” she captioned the sizzling picture.

It’s clear she’s got genetics on her side, and probably a healthy diet, from the looks of her green juice.

Whatever the case, she appears to be glowing in her new role as mommy.

“It’s hard to describe, but just from the first day he’s born, your perspective on life completely changes,” Gretzky told ABC in March. “Things that were important aren’t important anymore. He’s kind of the only thing that’s really important, and being there for him and being a role model for him.”

Floyd Mayweather willing to give Manny Pacquiao a rematch when shoulder heals #MMBSports

Floyd Mayweather won the fight against Manny Pacquiao, even though the bout didn't live up to the hype. Some thought Manny Pacquiao won, like Skip Bayless on ESPN's First Take.

There was also the built-in excuse that Pacquiao had a torn rotator cuff before the fight and was fighting injured, putting a cloud over the already controversial result of the fight. Pacquiao is getting surgery on his shoulder and could be out nine to 12 months.
