Ring of Honor Posts Tribute Video and Statement on "Rowdy" Roddy Piper [Video] #MMBROH

As seen above, Ring of Honor has posted a tribute to the late "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. Piper appeared at an ROH event back in January 2014 in Nashville. The tribute features footage of Piper with Kevin Owens, The Briscoes and other ROH talents. ROH also posted this statement on Piper over the weekend:

We at Ring of Honor are extremely shocked and saddened at the sudden passing of the legendary “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.

A true icon in professional wrestling, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper was a silent adviser to many, passing on his invaluable wisdom. An amazing man who will be missed by those who were lucky enough to work with or get to know him.

We extend our sincerest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.

North Carolina Honors Stuart Scott With Jersey Patch, Pregame Tribute #MMBSports

Stuart Scott’s love for his alma mater was unmistakable. Whenever a North Carolina highlight would come on, you could count on him to give it a little extra spice. That personal touch, by the way, is one of the things that makes SportsCenter great. The anchors lay bare their biases.

After all, everyone is from somewhere.

His Tar Heel love helped us connect with him on a deeper level.

Last night, North Carolina paid tribute to their fallen family member. The players wore a patch honoring Scott and the student section held STU signs. Additionally, they yelled “booyah” after each made three-pointer.

Rich Eisen's tearful farewell to Stuart Scott [Video] #MMBSports

When Rich Eisen arrived at ESPN in 1996, his first on-air partner was Stuart Scott, who passed away Sunday morning after a long battle with cancer. Eisen and Scott were one of the most entertaining duos in the network’s history, and during NFL Gameday on the NFL Network, Eisen said goodbye to his dear friend.

“I loved this man. I still love this man, and the fact that he has passed away is absolutely mind-boggling, and a travesty. He battled cancer as bravely as anybody else, and I know there are many people out there who are battling cancer right now… Stuart would want you to know to keep fighting, and that he didn’t lose his battle with cancer. He fought it as bravely as he possibly could. And as you go to bed tonight, flip your pillow over to the cool side, and before you go to sleep — as Stuart would say, when you hit your knees tonight — and pray to the big man for his beautiful daughters who he loved, Taelor and Sydni.”

Apple Honors Robin Williams With Tribute on its Website

Apple is honoring Robin Williams with a memorial on its web site.

Williams died Monday at his home in Tiburon, California, at the age of 63 after battling severe depression.

Apple posted a simple tribute in black-and-white which includes a picture of the late actor and comedian along with this brief message.

"We are deeply saddened by the passing of Robin Williams. He inspired us through his passion, his generosity, and the gift of laughter. He will be greatly missed."

WWE Pays Tribute To Connor "The Crusher" Michalek [Video]

Back in April it was reported that WWE fan Connor Michalek had passed away after a battle with cancer. Connor was the fan close to Daniel Bryan who once made Bryan tap out. 

 WWE's tribute to Connor popped up online today, as seen below. It shows Connor with various WWE Superstars, attending events including WrestleMania XXX and knocking out Triple H with one punch before getting the pin on him.
