Rihanna rose to international fame as a musician, but in the past few years the 32-year-old star has taken a break from music to focus on her other businesses, namely her fashion and makeup lines.

Now almost four years after the singer pressed pause on her musical career, she’s come back with a vengeance and broken records in the process. “Believe It,” her collaboration with PARTYNEXTDOOR, hit number 23 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, giving Rihanna her 51st Top 40 hit.

Not only does this make Rihanna one of only ten artists in history to have over 50 top 40 singles, but it also pushes her past both The Beatles and her mentor JAY-Z’s records of 50 Top 40 hits.

In a recent interview with British Vogue, Rihanna shared that she’s currently in the process of working on her ninth studio album, which has been nicknamed R9. Though she won’t give much information about when it will be released or which genres she’ll explore on the album, she’s made it clear that “there are no rules. There’s no format. There’s just good music, and if I feel it, I’m putting it out.”

The leader of the multibillion-dollar makeup line Fenty Beauty also shared that she hopes to have “3 or 4” children in the next ten years, regardless of whether or not she's in a relationship. “The only thing that matters is happiness, that’s the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child. That’s the only thing that can raise a child truly, is love,” she said.
