Watch Prince Perform at 'SNL's' 40th Anniversary Afterparty [Video] #RIPPrince

Just over a year after Saturday Night Live's 40th anniversary special and days after thedeath of legendary R&B/pop artist Prince, footage of the musician performing alongsideSNL alum Maya Rudolph, Jimmy Fallon and more A-listers has surfaced.
SNL and Prince fans were in for a memorable surprise on Friday, when Tim Kazurinsky, a castmember on the NBC show from 1981 to 1984, posted a 6 1/2-minute video of the singer performing at the SNL 40 afterparty at the Plaza Hotel on Feb. 15, 2015.
In the footage, Prince is seen singing his "Let's Go Crazy" single alongside SNL veterans and numerous other famous faces, including Martin Short, Cuba Gooding Jr., Bill Murray, Emma Stone and Chris Rock.
As Prince plays the electric guitar and sings, Rudolph accompanies him on the vocals as Short watches from the side. Almost midway through the video, Fallon — with drink in hand — takes the microphone to Prince's left and joins in, singing the lyrics to the 1984 track.
Toward the end of the song, Prince gives his guitar to the audience, and the instrument crowd-surfs through the hands of attendees before making its way back to Fallon.
"Filmed by SNL alum Tim Kazurinsky (@timkazurinsky) standing on his tiptoes. At the SNL40 After Party at the Plaza Hotel in NYC," Tim Kazurinsky captioned the video. "Jimmy Fallon coaxed music icon Prince onstage to give what would be a legendary impromptu performance. Here it is in its entirety."
On Saturday night, SNL will pay tribute to the musician with a special, titled "SNL Goodnight Sweet Prince."
