A&E Network said it will cease production on Live PD after the show faced scrutiny following report that it had, but no longer retains, footage from the death of Javier Ambler, who died in police custody last year. The news comes after Paramount Network’s Cops, which also follows on duty police officers, was pulled in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death. The network later confirmed that it has no plans for the show to return.
