Disney Parks Shares Churro Recipe for Fans to Make While Social Distancing #MMBCovid

Social distancing can be a magical time to cook.

Even though Disneyland and Disney Parks are closed due to the coronavirus outbreak, the media giant is tickling fans’ senses of taste and smell by offering up the recipe of their beloved churros.

The recipe was shared on Disney Parks’ official blog.

“These past few weeks, we’ve seen many of you sharing Disney recipes and creating your very own magical moments right at home. Being a BIG fan of Disney Parks snacks myself, this has inspired us to share one of my favorite recipes so you can continue creating #DisneyMagicMoments,” wrote Alex Dunlap, Diney’s food and beverage coordinator.

The blog post included an official recipe as well as 2018 instructional video for making a similar recipe for the much cuter sounding Churro Tots.

The recipe to the adored treat is being shared after a slew of Disney locations closed around the world and the Disney+ launch in Europe was cancelled.

However, even with COVID-19’s detrimental effects on the travel industry, Disney fans are proving that they can rely solely on their imaginations by recreating the Disney World experience at home.

In March, fans speculated that Disney’s 2010 film “Tangled” predicted the pandemic, drawing analogues between Rapunzel’s tower seclusion and the practice of social distancing, and the smoking gun: Rapunzel is kept away from a town called Corona.
