Five ways WWE will be changed after TLC


In case you haven’t heard, a big change is coming at WWE TLC. The WWE and World Heavyweight Championships will cease to exist, merged into one supreme Unified Championship that will be earned in that most treacherous of crucibles, a Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match. By now, the WWE Universe knows the players involved: Randy Orton, WWE Champion, and John Cena, World Heavyweight Champion. They know the match was instigated by Cena after Orton retained his title through various hoodwinks by his handlers in The Authority, and they know Orton – despite the backing of the corporate power – is on somewhat shaky ground going into the biggest match of his life.

Will WWE Unify Both WWE & World Titles?


A promo aired during tonight’s WWE Main Event tapings in Uncasville, CT where Triple H said he wanted only one WWE Champion and wanted to unify both titles with the Randy Orton vs. John Cenamatch at next month’s TLC pay-per-view.
Our correspondent wasn’t sure if Triple H was making the announcement that the match will now be to unify the titles or if he was just talking about what he wanted to do.

There was a scary moment at a WWE live event in Cape Town, South Africa, as Randy Orton was attacked by a fan following his match against Big E Langston. TMZ.com, which is currently covering the incident as its lead story, reports that the fan is now in police custody.

TMZ Reports How Much Randy Orton Makes Per Year In Divorce Case But Is It True?

It was noted earlier this week in the Randy Orton divorce report from TMZ that Orton makes $3.5 million per year. Orton signed a ten-year deal a few years ago.

The figures from court documents must include his income with everything figured in because the top WWE talents have a $1 million downside guarantee.

Former Announcer Says WWE Wants To Get Rid Of Randy Orton 'Permanently'

Fueling rumors that WWE may part ways with Randy Orton as a result of his second violation of the Talent Wellness Program, former WCW announcer Mark Madden stated Thursday on Twitter, "WWE wants to get rid of Orton PERMANENTLY. Character and popularity have plateaued, and he's a pain to deal with."

Early this morning, Randy Orton finally commented on Twitter and said that his suspension ends in 50 days, which would put him back Friday, July 27th, two days before the reported July 29th. A fan asked Orton if he will be returning as a heel because of the suspension. Orton said "we can only pray."

Reports came out from SuperLuchas.net on Monday that Randy Orton’s WWE future was up in the air after meeting with Vince McMahon, Triple H and Kevin Dunn at WWE headquarters on Friday. The report stated that the meeting’s atmosphere was “hostile” and it was determined a further decision concerning Orton awaits. SuperLuchas says that several WWE officials were lobbying for Orton’s termination as a cost-cutting measure.

Santino Marella To Replace Randy Orton At WWE Elimination Chamber

Due to injury, Randy Orton was pulled from the World Heavyweight Title Elimination Chamber match at this Sunday's pay-per-view. A battle royal was held at the Smackdown tapings to determine who would fill Orton's spot in the Chamber and that battle royal was won by none other than Santino Marella.
