Phillies Sign Pitcher Dontrelle Willis
Always on the lookout for pitching depth, the Phillies have agreed on a one-year contract with veteran lefty Dontrelle Willis, according to sources. Willis will get a big-league contract worth about $1 million when he passes a physical. The deal is non-guaranteed, which means Willis could be released with 45 days termination pay in March. In other words, he has to make a good showing in spring training to stick with the club.

Former Phillie Jayson Werth Says He Hates The Phillies
Former Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Jayson Werth is making it clear he resents that his old team signed Cliff Lee and not himself.
The Washington Post was at spring training with the Nationals', Werth's new team, when it caught an exchange between Werth and Nationals' general manager Mike Rizzo.
