An Illinois news anchor has instantly gained thousands of new supporters after making a brave and emotional announcement on the air.
WCIA-TV reporter Dave Benton shared with viewers Thursday that his brain cancer has returned and the prognosis is uncertain.
"My cancer is back and it's too big for surgery and radiation," he said. "Doctors have told me I may only have four to six months to live."
