Target will not be selling Beyonce's new self-titled album - a surprise bombshell release that dropped on iTunes last week. The nature of the its debut is exactly the reason that the big box store will not be stocking its "B" section with the hot-selling album.

Beyonce took a big risk in dropping her self-titled album on iTunes late last week without any pre-release promotion, and it's now abundantly clear that the bold move paid off. The singer's camp says that "Beyoncé" sold 828,773 copies over the weekend, a massive take made even more impressive by the fact that the album was an iTunes exclusive for the duration of that period.

This statement comes just a few days after Blackground Records (which is ran by Aaliyah’s uncle Barry Hankerson)  released “Enough Said,” a new collaboration between Aaliyah and Drake.

Not only is Aaliyah’s family against the record, but rapper Timbaland has also voiced his ill-feelings towards the project.
