WWE & Alberto Del Rio Mutually Agree On Release #MMBWWE

WWE and Jose Rodriguez (Alberto Del Rio) have mutually agreed upon the terms of his release as of September 9, 2016. Rumors have been circulating that Del Rio would not be returning to WWE after his wellness policy suspension. Reports are Del Rio was not happy with his creative direction since his return to WWE.

Del Rio held a press conference to talk about his release below are the notes.

Paige was in attendance but not in an official capacity.

He will be using the name Alberto El Patron again.

He was tired of the pace of WWE and had done everything he needed to accomplish their. He was losing his passion.

Negotiations were amicable on both sides and there is no 90 day no compete clause as that was waived by Vince.

He will look to wrestle 2 more years before retiring.

He does not want to be exclusive and lock himself into any one organization and will work only by dates.

He is already negotiating with various business in Mexico and looking into being a Sports Commentator in the US.
