Last month the Tampa Bay Buccaneers unveiled their new helmet design with rumors of new jerseys soon to follow. The Bucs were/are scheduled to have a press conference on Wednesday, March 5th to show off the new unis. That was until the jumped the gun and tweeted out their new design.
Many things to note on the new jerseys, one it looks like black on the pants and tops of the jerseys but it is actually pewter. A team rep has confirmed it will keep using pewter and that although it looks black they are pewter. The team rep also made note that their is a lining around the number font that actually shines when the light hits it. Think reflective material used on construction gear. Although no one knows how this will show on TV or live, it would be a first for a team in the NFL.
