Adam West was once kicked out of an orgy while pretending to be Batman #MMBComic

In a bit of entertainment news that hurts, last Friday the legendary actor Adam West died at the age of 88.
West, who is best known for his straight-faced and uproariously silly role on the original ’60s Batman and for playing a crazed version of himself on Family Guy, brought generations of fans joy through his comedy and performances. So it feels right to celebrate his life with one of West’s silliest and proudest stories.
One time, West and his co-star Frank Gorshin were kicked out of an orgy for staying in their Batman characters.
The story originally gained mainstream attention during an interview West did with Blastr in 2014. However, it gained traction again when Gilbert Gottfried mentioned it while promoting the live show of Gilbert Gottfried’s Amazing Colossal Podcast!
During the interview, Gottfried mentioned what it was like getting West to talk about the orgy story again. “Adam West, TV’s original Batman, said he and Frank Gorshin, who played The Riddler, were once kicked out of an orgy together,” Gottfried said. “I think because they weren’t taking it too seriously.”

So what’s the story? According to Blastr’s interview, West and Gorshin decided to go to a Hollywood party they didn’t know anything about. Naturally, when they stumbled upon an orgy, the pair’s first reaction was to jump into their silly DC characters.
“So I immediately went into the Batman character, and Frank went into the Riddler character, because we were getting the big giggles. It was so funny to us, what we walked into. And we were kicked out. We were expelled from the orgy” West said.
Adam West always brought joy and laughter to all things, including orgies. Rest in peace, you great, great man.
