Please Help By Donating To Support The Fight Against Cancer & 2015 Broad Street Run

There is no other way to put it. Cancer sucks. It is a beast with an unending appetite for pain and destruction. But like every monster, it has a weak spot: it can't beat the human spirit. My friend Allen Schatz's mother Josie fought cancer and now he is running in her memory. Please read below what Allen says about the American Cancer Society DetermiNation team in Philadelphia has done for him.

As part of the American Cancer Society DetermiNation team in Philadelphia, I have seen just how strong that spirit is. This group, and those they represent, are achieving things I never imagined could be accomplished.

Yes, training for distance runs is tough, but for DNation Philly, the finish line is just the beginning. Our racing will help save lives from every cancer in every community.
And I'm hoping you'll support me in my efforts.

I believe in the work the American Cancer Society is doing to save lives. It's why I joined DNation and why I run with them. Every day, they're helping people stay well and get well, they're funding and conducting research to find cures, and they're rallying communities to join them in fighting back. Because of that, more than 11 million Americans who have a history of cancer will celebrate another birthday this year.

As you plan out your 2015 gift-giving and contributions, please consider a donation for my racing efforts so that together, with the American Cancer Society, we can help save lives and create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.
