The Los Angeles Dodgers have acquired Phillies third baseman Michael Young, according to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports. According to Rosenthal, Young, who grew up a Dodgers fan, waived his no-trade clause so that he could be moved to Los Angeles.
Young played what turned out to be his final game in Phillies uniform Saturday where he went 3-for-5 from the plate and drove in a run. Young hit .276 with eight home runs and 42 RBI in his lone season with the team. He also posted an on-base percentage of .336 and a slugging percentage of .395.
