The Philadelphia Soul (3-3) battle their cross state rivals
the Pittsburgh Power (1-5) tonight from the Wells Fargo Center. The Soul look
to get over the .500 mark while the Power are looking to just ignite something
into their team after losing their last two games.
The Soul has had an up and down season thus far. With a 3-3
record it shows the Soul have been good half of the time and the other half not
so much. Inconsistent play could easily sum up the Soul. The Soul has shown
glimpses of success only to show us sloppy play the other half of the time in
the form of turnovers.
Last week was one of those successful glimpses as the Soul
put up 72 points on the Chicago Rush which so far as been a season high. If the
Soul can continue do the right things on offense, which has not been a problem,
& keep turnovers under control on defense, which has been a problem, they
should be poised to move ahead in the division.
The Power’s record may show a team looking for answers, but
defensively they are a sound team ranked 1st in fewest yards
allowed. The problem the Power has had is scoring points. Ranked last in
scoring the Power have held teams to little points but cannot seem to match
those points in order to gain a win. For the Power to walk away winner of PA
they need to be able to score and score often while keeping the Soul off the
boards.
All the action happens tonight at 7pm est from Philadelphia,
PA. For ticket information log onto www.PhiladelphiaSoul.com.
